What would happen if...?

My boyfriend asked me a very strange question today... He asked me, "What if there were 100 guys and girls in a pool, and 3 to 5 of the guys d. Could any of the women get pregnant?" I only ask this because I had no idea what to sa to him... So if a guy were to in say, a pool, could the women get pregnant if she is standing close enough? (Probabally not, huh?)
