How to wean a 16 month old baby from feeding?

my son has always been feed to fall asleep in the night, we co-sleep. in the day time he never get to nurse from me at all, he sleeps very good in his pram without being nurse to fall asleep. but in the night time, after giving him evening ritual, he will be nurse to fall asleep. he wakes up twice or thrice in the middle of the night to be nurse. this are his daily habits. but now comes my problems. yesterday he started biting me when he his being nurse. he has been constantly trying to bit both my and i have no idea why. he never did this before, its like he just wanna bite instead of being nurse. so i have to forcely stop him from being breastfeed to fall asleep, but then he could not fall asleep. it took him 2 hours yesterday before he manage to fall asleep, may husband advice me to try to let him watch his favorite sesame street so maybe he will fall asleep, so he did, but then he woke up 12am and there comes another big problem. i tried to nurse him so he can fall back to sleep but he started biting me already after 30 seconds of being nurse. he could not fall asleep, i tried to let him watch again then he got relax but did not manage to fall asleep. it reach us around 330am and he was still complaining. so i put him in his pram then that was the only time he fell asleep. today i tried making him sleep in his own bed and it took us 2 hours again before he fell asleep. i manage to nurse him for 10 mins without being bitten but when i put him in his bed he got relax and i let him watch but after he got tired of watching he insisted of standing over and over again in his bed, so i took him and tried to breastfeed him to fall asleep but then he started biting me so i put him back to bed and finally after some time he got relax, and he fell asleep.i am force to stop nursing him now, but i really dont know how to make him sleep in his own bed without me having to nurse him.this is all new to him, and i dont know what to do if he wakes up in the middle of the night for feeding. i could really use advice right now. im very tired and exhausted and i dont know what to do anymore.
