High school relationship advice?

Okay so I met this girl (she's a freshman, I'm a senior) in august and we hung out but her mom didn't approve. But we were able to see each other in school and go to a park every now and then. Her mom found out eventually though so she stopped going. We became distant and broke up. She got a new boyfriend in February but they broke up last month. Last week me and her started talking again. My feelings never really disappeared but I'm not sure about her..she tells me she likes me and shes told me she still loves me but I'm not sure what to think. She avoids me in school and only wants to text and occasionally skype. And whenever I tell her ily or send a heart she doesn't answer. Do I give up? Keep going? Is it worth it?
