Will it be possible to get my first apartment without credit or cosigner, but with plenty of cash?
It completely depends on the community's specific guidelines. Every community is requires to follow the Fair Housing Laws, so they cannot just "cut you some slack". You do not necessarily have to have any credit, however be prepared to pay a large security deposit because you have no credit and no rental history in addition to the rent. If you are able to pay all of the rent up front they may have a clause for your type of situation ( no job but rent money pd in full) however, be aware that most communities will require you to have a job to meet the income qualifications. Have you considered getting a roommate? Between your roommate's job and your money in the bank you could income qualify. :)
